Teachers Are Not Okay, and We Need to Be Concerned

The noble profession of teaching is undergoing seismic changes, and our teachers are bearing the burden, which must be addressed immediately.

Teaching has traditionally been regarded as a noble vocation that is essential to forming the minds of present and future generations. Many educators today seem unsure about their job or the future of education, despite the benefits of becoming teachers. According to a recent report, there is a worrisome trend where more educators are unhappy with their careers or unsure about their future employment in this field of education.

Today's teachers face unique and ongoing challenges. Many teachers feel uncertain about their profession and its prospects as they navigate a variety of issues, from daily lesson planning and assessment responsibilities to larger forces affecting education as a whole, some of which were created by the pandemic. These ambiguous feelings have far-reaching effects on both individual teachers and entire communities that depend on strong educational workforces for student success.
