One person indicated that Minnesota has tried to make their wild areas and beaches accessible for the disabled, but more needs to be done. I have a dear friend who uses a walker and so I understand the difficulties. I’ve corresponded with The Nature Conservancy (they said they’d do an article) and asked local wildlife preserves to increase their attention to the needs of anyone who is physically challenged. I will continue to speak out and hope you will, too. BTW, someone said there are wheelchairs that can go on the sand. The more of us that speak up, the more will be done.
