On many points, I agree, but on a few, I have a different view. I, too, as a poor kid, got almost all my teeth filled with amalgam. Having them removed is more dangerous than having them removed, however. True, ADA is a trade association, but they make good points about care. And, true, some dentists, like some MDs, provide "care" where it's not needed. It's always "let the buyer beware," and we are BUYING services. We are not slavishly following what someone tells us--we're adults. Thanks for your comments, as always.
