Authors “live” for the publication of their work and I’m no different

The past two years of the pandemic have brought me to realize that I have a previously undiscovered wish to write flash fiction. Who knew? I had never even heard of the genre and now I am becoming deeply immersed in it. One of my first stories, A Good Thing, has been published in a Kindle collection of short stories (Revenge). Guess what…it’s the first story in the book.

So, if you’d like, here’s the information where you can find it and my advice to all you writers out there — keep writing. I’ve already published close to 10 flash stories since I started and plan to keep on going.

Who knew, when I won that New York City-wide essay contest in high school, that I’d be writing stories for publication? I didn’t. And now that I’m published I look back and recall how the local chapter of the DAR gave me a medal for my efforts. Still have it.

Here’s the Revenge book’s link on Amazon. You can also read “Hard Work” online. Hope you enjoy them. And look for “A Mother’s Prayer” on CafeLitMagazine.

Thanks for reading.
