I'm not an MD, but from what I understand, in children, and I suppose in adults, too, there is a process called chelation whereby lead is removed from the blood. Generally, this is done in children who have been found to have been exposed to high lead levels by old paint in their homes. It wouldn't, however, to my understanding, remove any lead that is being stored in our bones. Do some research on chelation for a better understanding of what it does and how it's used. It's important. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chelation_therapy
