I, too, share some of your background and I believe in God and that being spiritual benefits us and others. BTW, a nun who was a classmate of mine, once told me that she found the Catholic church to be one big corporation. She was a wonderful, giving woman who wrote and started retreats for women and a half-way house. Wonderful. She died during Covid.
