Good for you. The ADA advises at least twice a day and that's probably because the gums are so vulnerable and they are the "guardians" of our health. Damage the gums (and aging will do it), and you are at increasing risk. So, I hope you use a very soft brush and, possibly, a waterpik on low speed. Even flossing has its problems and they are recommending that we back off on that a bit.
