Fear Is the Weapon of Choice in America’s Nazi Propaganda Hatred Inflaming the US

The Nazi propaganda expert’s mantra was "repeat lies enough and they will be believed," and the US is seeing it come true now. And P. T. Barnum knew, “There’s a fool born every minute.”

Prior to WWII, Germany was aflame with the soaring rhetoric of the propaganda master, Josef Goebbels, who knew how to use theatrics, aka bread and circus, to appeal to an eager audience. It was Goebbels who supported the filmmaker, Leni Riefenstahl, in making the now infamous “Triumph of the Will” and staging huge rallies using the symbols of ancient Rome. The appeal to power was obvious, and it was mesmerizing. The film may be viewed on YouTube.

The master propagandist promoted his fear-mongering rhetoric by saying that any lie, repeated enough times, would become believable. Fear is the foundation upon which they build autocracies, and we know of one bestselling book that has related that premise and how it is being used politically in the US. Practitioners of a fear perspective are now scouring every social media platform and the streets to intensify fear for their purposes and identify groups to target.
