Brad Pitt Is on Biden’s Side
Will a VO weeks before an election make a difference?
Brad Pitt is an actor whose name causes ears to shoot up whenever he’s mentioned anywhere in the world. He is among the pantheon of film stars who can ensure box office dynamite when his name is above the title and, as a result, he can influence many fans.
The guy with the cowboy hat and the made-for-movies bod (remember “Thelma and Louise?”), Pitt has been involved in many humanitarian causes, but he’s always kept it quiet. When Hurricane Katrina devastated housing in New Orleans, Pitt assembled a planning and construction crew.
His environmentally friendly Make It Right Foundation went to work to construct a projected 150 homes in New Orleans. The architects for the homes were famous in their own right, too, and among them was the uber-famous Frank Gehry. Additional homes are planned for other urban areas in need of housing. Some of these homes are for disabled veterans and persons with special needs.
With an intense interest in design and architecture, Pitt is known to have a love of building and is always involved in any home he is building for himself and his family.

If you were running for elected office, I think you’d love to have Pitt on your ad campaign, even if it’s a VO. That’s exactly what Joe Biden got — Pitt doing a VO for his video.
The actor hasn’t exactly been out campaigning actively for Biden as Eva Longoria or George Clooney, Jennifer Aniston, Steph Curry, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez, and Alex Rodriguez, but HE did the VO. No, Pitt hasn’t been shy about his political affiliation, as anyone who saw him at the Oscars this year knows. When he’s interviewed, and the subject of politics comes up, Pitt doesn’t mince words, but he keeps it clean and calm, too.
His Oscar-acceptance speech was no exception. Given a short time to make his remarks, he said,
“They told me I only have 45 seconds up here, which is 45 seconds more than the Senate gave John Bolton this week,” said Pitt, referencing the former national security adviser who was not allowed to testify by the Senate during the proceedings that acquitted President Donald Trump.
“Maybe Quentin will make a movie about it and in the end the adults will do the right thing.”
I guess we’ll all find out how successful this part of the ad campaign was when the election results come out.
